![]() The idea of the plot is great, to be honest. However, when I do put this book down, it’s really hard for me to pick it back up again. This is the type of book that you can’t put down, because it’s so light and fast-paced and a lot’s happening already that you are sucked in despite not liking how it’s going. I like how it does not have a long, too-detailed intro that makes it look like the author just put it there to increase the word count of the book. I like books that are fast-paced and this is one. The only thing I like about the plot is the idea and how fast it goes. But I do think about what I read and this one frustrates me. It’s actually pretty good if you don’t think much about it. I was initially giving this book a solid 2, but I felt like that doesn’t seem quite right. ![]() Now, I won’t get in much detail in this part of the review because as always, I will break down everything into parts. ![]() If you want to watch that, you can click here. My last post was back in 2019 and I just suddenly popped out to share my thoughts about this book because I am so mad about it that I decided to resurrect my dead blog. First of all, I know it has been a while since I last posted. ![]() ![]() Thus their intimacy had become exponential, along with their sadness and regret. Their mission is to save the world, over and over again, because they can’t stop failing, their failures compounding across time: “Each had had the experience of self-annihilation.
